Buc-Nee Supplement
Buc-Nee Supplement is formulated to correct a buck-knee condition in foals. Supplementation usually begins at 6 months of age or older. Foal must be weaned from milk before using Buc-Nee, as it would be caustic to the mouth if still consuming milk. Buc-Nee can also be used in cattle for post legged or spavin steers, following the same guidelines as for foals. Key ingredients are manganese and copper. The typical recommended dosage is at least 2-3 oz. daily for two weeks, then reduced by 2/3 or 1/2 for a maintenance period of several weeks.
