MikMar Flexion Combo Bit w/Jointed Mouth
The Mikmar Flexion Combo is a new innovative design, based on the original Mikmar Combination Bit. Like the original, it disperses pressure to the nose, mouth, chin and poll areas and offers three areas for rein placement. However, the new Flexion Combo offers swiveling cheek pieces that function independently, with fixed purchases to ensure a steady bridle connection. The moveable cheek action aids in lifting each side of the horse’s shoulders and frame separately, it is excellent for achieving balance, both vertical and lateral flexion and control. The Jointed mouthpiece affords the rider a softer, more lateral connection. The Mikmar Flexion Combination bits are suitable for both Western and English riding styles and may be used with a single rein alone connected to the nose rope, the upper or lower areas on the shank, or using two reins. Its versatility makes it a popular choice for barrel racing, penning, cow horse work, jumping, gaited horses, endurance and all levels of training and pleasure riding.

MikMar Combination Bit - Low Port Mouthpiece
The Mikmar Combination Bit is for both English and Western Disciplines. Legendary Horseman Frank Evans, founder of the Mikmar Bit Company, designed the Mikmar Combination Bit. It is highly acclaimed worldwide for its versatility, unique design, and excellent results. As the rider applies pressure to the reins, this unique design disperses pressure to the nose, mouth, chin, and poll areas. Frank Evans' goal was to be able to protect a horse's mouth and at the same time get desired results. It sends a clearer signal to the horse, allowing the rider to use a softer hand. Mikmar Combination Bit with Low Port Mouthpiece offers the same design as the standard Mikmar Bit, but offers a lower port of 3/4 inch in height. It provides less palate pressure than our Standard Mouthpiece.
