Callicrate Bander is the Castration banding tool for any size bull (300 lbs - 3,000 lbs). Callicrate Bander applies solid latex band around the scrotum for reliable results. Aluminum clip secures band to eliminate slippage. Rubber loops load quickly. Spring loaded indicator senses proper tightness. Scrotum should fall off in 20 to 35 days. Vaccinate with tetanus toxoid according to label directions. Callicrate Bander kit comes with 5 loops, cutter, and carrying case.
Reap the benefits of delayed castration with the easy to use XL Bander. It is designed for bulls from 250 to 650 lbs. Works just like the plier type banders. Simply open the band, put into place and release the handle of the applicator. No threading, tightening, or crimping of any kind. Can also be used for removing horns and docking tails. Once the band is in place, the scrotum should fall off in twenty to forty days. Vaccinate with tetanus toxoid according to label directions.
The Callicrate Wee Bander is a high-tension banding tool for newborn animals. Proper and consistent band tension negates blood flow, triggering a natural pain blocking effect. Each latex rubber Wee Loop has a built-in tension lock ring for proper tightness without crimping or cutting. Spring loaded bander tension rod senses proper tightness. Bloodless and humane. Lighweight and easy to operate. Appropriate for newborn calves, lambs and kids. Vaccinate with tetanus toxoid, according to label directions. The Callicrate Wee Bander comes with 5 Wee loops and loop stretcher.
The bigger, stronger, “better” bander. Bands are two times the strength of standard bands and they open bigger. Banding causes less stress, resulting in bigger gains. Recommended for calves up to 400 lbs. or 3-4 months of age. The bands are flat so they will not roll off of the applicator. The scrotum should fall off in approximately 20-40 days. Vaccinate with tetanus toxoid according to label directions. Bander comes with 10 bands.
Wee Loops are used with the Callicrate Wee Bander for bloodless castration of newborn animals. Each latex rubber Wee Loop has a built-in tension lock ring to achieve proper tightness without crimping or cutting.
Minimizes blood loss and risk of hemorrhage through the severed cord. Utilizes twisting action which effectively closes the severed cord. May be used on any age bull but is an especially effective method to use on older heavier bulls(500 to 900 lbs.) where it is important to minimize the risk of blood loss, swelling and infection. Easy to use and faster than many other forms of castration. Reduces risk of post-castration swelling, infection and trauma. Incise scrotum with Newberry Castrating Knife, then use castrating tool with a cordless, variable speed drill. It is essential that only a variable speed drill with a 3/8" chuck be used and that the castrating instrument be tight and secure in the drill chuck. Stainless steel.
Applies a latex band around the scrotum and pulls it tight, cutting off the blood supply. An aluminum clip secures the ring. Once excess band has been cut, you're ready to re-load for the next animal. Within about 30 seconds, the scrotum is completely numb and the animal feels nothing.
Quick and easy bloodless castration. To use, insert the T-clip that is affixed to each band into the bander's slotted end, stretch the band around the scrotal sac and lock band onto the T-clip. Tilt bander back to release tool. The sac dries up in approximately 7 to 10 days. Vaccinate with tetanus toxoid (16336, 16353, 16354) according to label directions. Order bands separately.
Latex castrating band rings for use with EZE Castrator Model T-1. Latex ring is applied around the scrotum and pulled tight to cut off the blood supply. Each application requires an aluminum clip (sold separately) to secure the ring.
Latex ring is stretched over left and right tips of the spreader bar. Ring is then pulled over top of shaft hook. Squeeze trigger until latex ring is through the aluminum clip. Pull tightly and then crimp aluminum clip. Lever action cuts latex ring.
Safe and easy way to incise the scrotum. Operator forces testicles up, placing knife below testicles. Knife is closed and pulled downward, incising bag from side to side. Testicles may then be removed using emasculator or Henderson Castrating Tool.
Castration with the Henderson method results in little or no blood loss, less stress, swelling, infection, and trauma. The Henderson Equine Castration Instrument may be used on stallions one week of age or older.
All-in-one castrator, docker and ear marker for lambs and kid goats. Allows quick, easy work with one instrument in one session, eliminating the need for extra tools or a second round-up of animals. Minimal blood loss, so animals heal more quickly. Lightweight aluminum alloy tool fits in your hand like pliers.
Used to remove a uterine prolapse when it is too damaged to be repaired. The prolapse may need to be surgically removed after banding depending on the size of tissue mass. Contact your veterinarian if assistance is required.
