For use in healthy swine as an aid in the prevention of atrophic rhinitis caused by Bordetella bronchiseptica or the toxin of Pasteurella multocida types A & D, erysipelas and pneumonia caused by Pasteurella multocida Type A. Administer a 5 ml dose to sows and gilts at 5 and 2 weeks prior to farrowing. Piglets receive a 1 ml dose at 7-10 days followed by a 2 ml dose 2 weeks later.
Ingelvac AR4 is recommended for the vaccination of healthy, susceptible swine against atrophic rhinitis caused by toxigenic Bordetella bronchiseptica and Pasteurella multocida toxigenic Type D and protects against toxin produced by Pasteurella multocida toxigenic Type A. Sows and Gilts: Give 2 mL IM at 5 weeks and 2-3 weeks prior to initial farrowing, with a single dose prior to each subsequent farrowing. Piglets: Give 1 mL IM or SQ prior to weaning, repeat 2 to 3 weeks later.
For prevention of rhinitis, pneumonia and Glasser's disease caused by Bordetella, erysipelas, toxigenic strains of Pasteurella multocida types A and D, plus Haemophilus parasuis. Sows and Gilts: Give 2 ml IM at 5 weeks and 2 weeks prior to initial farrowing, with a single dose 3 weeks prior to subsequent farrowings. Piglets: give 2 ml IM at 3-4 weeks of age; for Haemophilus parasuis protection, repeat 2-4 weeks later. Revaccinate boars annually.
