I've got an elderly chronically laminitic mare, and in all my years of packing, poulticing and otherwise treating sore or abscessed feet, I haven't found anything I like as well as the Equine Slipper. I have a horse with a front hoof that required an extensive resection by the vet. I am required to pack the hoof with iodine and cotton every other day. This slipper works great to keep the hoof clean and protected from dirt. I pack the hoof with cotton, use one layer of tape, and then I slip on the slipper. I keep my horse stalled with a small outside run. The slipper is lasting on its 4th week now. Great item! Is this testimonial helpful?
