Keeps Thrush At Bay. Great for Preventative Care

I use this spray at least 2-3 times a week, sometimes more, after I pick my horses' hooves. I thoroughly spray the frog, making sure I get into all the grooves. This I do when I put them in their stalls for the night. It works extremely well during wet weather and muddy conditions. Seems to be gentle as it has not caused any irritation. You won't have problems with thrush if you keep the hooves clean, dry, and sprayed with this product. Use consistently for best results. Is this testimonial helpful?

Good prevention for hoof abscesses

My horse has always had weak hooves and struggled with abscesses since he was a yearling. I keep him on hoof supplements but it wasn't enough. My farrier recommended this product as a prevention. Since I started using it about two years ago, my horse has stayed abscess-free. I like that this spray seems mild (doesn't seem too harsh on the frog), non-staining (for him and for my hands) and non-drying. I am consistent about using it, spraying it twice a week when it's dry and daily when the pasture is mucky from spring rains. We also spray it immediately after his trims. I consider this product part of our hoof improvement program. I would rather use this spray and prevent problems, then get another abscess and have long hours of soaking and months of growing out. If you have a horse with bad hooves, try this product and see if it helps. Is this testimonial helpful?

Last spring my horse foundered and i had all kinds of problems to sort out with him, from getting shoes put on him, complete diet and exercise change, and in general his complete hoof care too. I used copper nathalate products (Kopertox) on his hoofs to toughen them up, put him on a hoof supplement(HoofShoers Secret), used a hoof oil on his hoofs to encourage a proper moisture content. Well that said lots of problems with him and this summer has been different, I took an active approach to ward off a lot of the problems before they happened. It has been so dry on the east coast this summer so I didn't really want to use kopertox in the dry weather, and flipping through my catalog I saw this stuff, read about it, and said why not try it... This stuff is great! it has really worked on my horse. He doesn't get any thrush, and i haven't seen any whiteline separation either this year. I plan on ordering some more of it before i run out.
