Last spring my horse foundered and i had all kinds of problems to sort out with him, from getting shoes put on him, complete diet and exercise change, and in general his complete hoof care too. I used copper nathalate products (Kopertox) on his hoofs to toughen them up, put him on a hoof supplement(HoofShoers Secret), used a hoof oil on his hoofs to encourage a proper moisture content.

My horse has always had weak hooves and struggled with abscesses since he was a yearling. I keep him on hoof supplements but it wasn't enough. My farrier recommended this product as a prevention.
