We have to give subcutaneous injections to our little 26 lb Basenji.
The vet started us out with 500 ml once a day using an 18 ga standard needle. We had to increase the fluids to 333 ml twice a day so we were looking for a way to make it a little easier on her.
We tried a 20 ga standard, once, but found out that it doubled the time (2 minutes per 100 ml increased to 4 minutes per ml)
