I look for non-toxic fly control methods and this item really meets my requirements. Yes, it will attract other insects as well but I don't mind if a hornet gets stuck on it.... I rarely see other bugs on them but I also make sure I do not place it near flowers which attracts butterflies etc. Normally, I place it near where the horse eat their hay which has made a HUGE difference in our fly population. If you use fly-predators, make sure not to spread them near this trap for obvious reasons. Is this testimonial helpful?

I have posted these traps at the entrance of each door to the barn, tack room, and house. Horses, dogs, and cats do not bother with them. But the bugs are attracted. Stable flies, house flies, gnats, yellow jackets, even Japanese beetles. A few 'good guys' like a dragon fly and a honey bee were also trapped. I highly recommend them! Is this testimonial helpful?
