New horse came to me last summer. In November he was VERY slow moving. He would just creep from stall to turn-out and creep back in the evening. Within a week of starting the DC-Y he was trotting around and would lope to the gate when I called him. The difference was really dramatic. When I ran out of the DC-Y (Devil's Claw-Yucca)within a few days he started poking around again. It was obviously the dc-y. It was the only change made during that time. I don't know about any side effects since it's an herbal formula but he really perked up and was happier. Is this testimonial helpful?

I have a 21 yr old Arabian mare who was diagnosed with DSLD about 5 years ago. It affects both her hindlimbs and the vet initally put her on bute. I decided after reading about the properties of Devils claw and yucca, that I would switch her to the natural supplement (instead of bute) and this one works the best! I even see her cantering in the pasture some days! I have tried others and the results were not as good. This product is higly recommended and she has been on it ~4 yrs. Is this testimonial helpful?

My horse was diagnosed with EPM. During treatment he had symptomatic relapses due to inflammation of the spinal cord. Rather than use steroids or Bute, I decided to put him on DC-Y. Am I ever glad I did! Within one week of starting DC-Y the relapses stopped occurring. From that moment on he made a steady, progressive recovery and now, a year after completing his treatment course, is 100% sound. I also used this product on a 19-year-old horse who had locked stifle and actually "clicked" when he walked. Within 2 weeks of starting DC-Y the clicking stopped and he was moving his stifle joint much more freely. I certainly would advise anyone dealing with any sort of inflammatory problem to try DC-Y first. It has no side effects and the horses love its taste. It is also less expensive than many of the other anti-inflammatory supplements. Is this testimonial helpful?

This is the best product I have found to help my chronically laminitis mare. She is not pain-free, but she moves around better with this than anything else I have tried. I refuse to use bute not only because she hates it, but even more, because it tears up her insides. With DC-Y, the glow is still in her eyes and the will to live is still strong. Now if I could just find something for those melanomas that have gone inside . . . Is this testimonial helpful?

I have a 22year old quarter horse with Navicular. In addition to his normal supplements, he was on Bute for flare-ups of his problem. I decided not to give him the Bute and switched to DC with Yucca. One heaping scoop has helped to keep him more comfortable without the risks of using Bute. Sure, I still use it on occasion but would rather opt to use natural means of pain control. My Sabian is an Arab, now 15yo who has been diagnosed with DSLD (Degenerative Suspensory Ligament Desmitis) and has been deteriorating for the past 8 years. This disease is insidious and genetic affecting all organs and connective tissues in the body by premature aging/degeneration. This product has helped sustain his precious life in a more pain free way for the past 5 years or so. Sadly, probably this fall is when he will no longer be able to move around freely and graze normally and will need to be relieved of his pain forever. DC-Y is an awesome product with no ill side affects that manages joint related pain in a most excellent way. Highly recommended for severe pain issues. Worth every penny of it's price. My 29 year old Anglo Arab was on bute to relieve his arthritis/joint pain, but when he started to have looser stools I switched him to DC-Y on a friend's recommendation. The DC-Y works at least as well as the bute for relieving his pain and doesn't cause any gastric side-effects. Very palatable, too - no more worrying about him leaving it at the bottom of his bucket or refusing to eat. I highly recommend this product! Is this testimonial helpful?
