This bit is a real gem for control and head-setting for the gaited/show/high-energy horse. My horse loves the "roller" which helps to keep her mind occupied and off "scarey" objects that show up on the trail. She now responds immediately to my commands and is now my "perfect horse." I desperately needed a legal show bit for the National Reined Cow Horse Association competitions. There are very specific features needed in a bit for the NRCHA, one is a cricket roller the other that the bit's shanks must not move to the side. This bit is perfect, the medium port is nice and gentle and my horse loves to play with the cricket roller. I didn't want to pay $400.00 and up for a show bit, and this bit is pretty and meets the requirements for NRCHA. Great buy, and my horse loves it, responds well, and we are going to have a great show season. Is this testimonial helpful?
