The fleece keeps the flys out, unlike most others. Supermask II is easy to take on and off (for humans not for horses). Big, soft ears that are breathable and keep bugs out. I just wish they would sell the horse in purple! Is this testimonial helpful?

Last year I purchased two of the Supermask II w/ears. They were quite durable and kept the gnats, flies and midges away. The masks stayed in place and did not rub sores on anywhere on the horses.
This year I tried a different brand, I'll call it, "Brand K" because at the time I couldn't locate the Supermask II w/ears. The first day, one gelding had an ear of the mask ripped loose. I mended that, put it back on and the next day discovered the mask had rubbed sores, one on each side of his face. I'll need to cover the inside with mole skin or sheep skin.
I'm using "Brand K" of fly blanket, hood and belly band I purchased last summer. They are better than nothing but I spend much time sewing alterations to make them truly functional. Is this testimonial helpful?

I have tried many other brands of fly mask because my horse is very destructive of any apparel. However he manages to keep the Farnham SuperMask II with ears intact longer than others and the actual mesh doesn't seem to tear as easily as other brands. Overall, no matter what the product, Farnham is a name I trust. Is this testimonial helpful?
