Jake's wire tighteners are a MUST HAVE for anyone with wire fences. They work great for that barbed wire patch, or tightening sagging stretched fences. They are fast, effective and work on fragile old wire most of the time. I can't be without them! I recommend the special handle. it makes the job much easier. i can tighten a sagging 5 strand barbed wire fence in 5 minutes. Is this testimonial helpful?

Jake's Wire Tighteners are absolutely amazing. I ordered two bags last week and one tightner. I used 14 clips and tightened about 150 yards of fence in less than 5 minutes this past weekend. Monday morning, I reordered another tool and 100 clips. If you have a barbed wire fence and don't have these, you are missing out! Is this testimonial helpful?

These things are great to repair fence. We have a lot of problems with deer going through and under the fences. They break the barbwire or stretch it. When a tree or limb falls on the fence, cut the wire and pull it out from under the limb or tree, then splice a short piece of barbwire, and tighten the strands.
Another use to repair woven wire fence is to run barbwire alone the top height and then tighten the wire with the Jakes System, then roll the top of the woven wire around the barb wire. Tightens up the fence like new.
The best part of using this system is that you easily carry the tools needed to repair fence in your truck or ATV. A short piece of barbwire, a few staples, fence pliers, and the Jakes system will repair most any fence problem.
When you have to work alone and walk fence lines that are not accessible with a vehicle, it is great to have a lightweight system to stretch wire in difficult places. Is this testimonial helpful?

We got hit pretty hard with an ice storm this winter and lost most of our timber. We had trees down across fencing everywhere. Much of the fencing was still intack but stretched. Jakes wire tighteners is exactly what makes this job fast. They work wonderful and last. At first we thought they may be a little pricey but had proved their cost with their ease of use and longevity of the product. I would recommend to have some on hand for anyone who has lots of fencing to maintain. Is this testimonial helpful?

This is a very fast and easy way to tighten fences without breaking the wire. They can be reused, but most of the time the wire causes the clip to tighten up where the tool cannot be used. You can use a large screwdriver, but you need to be very careful to keep it from slipping and getting a barb in your hand. Is this testimonial helpful?
