Surveys in U.S. and Canada show most grazing animals are affected by some degree of copper deficiency. Copper deficiency causes depressed immunity, poor reproductive performance, anemia, diarrhea, joint disorders, reduced fertility and more. Even on high performance feedlot rations, deficient range calves are slow to pick up. Copasure is retained in the ruminant stomachs, elevating copper levels for 8 months or more. Good copper reserves in the mother at calving will ensure that calves will be born with sufficient copper reserves. Give 1 bolus per animal. For animals 150-500 lbs.
