(Pfizer Animal Health)  Strongid T is used for the removal and control of mature infections of strongyles, pinworms and large roundworms in horses and ponies. Strongid T contains pyrantel pamoate. Each ml of Strongid T suspension contains 50 mg pyrantel base as pyrantel pamoate. The recommended dosage of Strongid T is 6 ml per 100 lbs body weight. It is recommended that horses over 8 months of age be routinely dosed every 6 weeks. For maximum control of parasitism, it is recommended that foals 2-8 months of age be dosed every 4 weeks. Strongid T may be administered orally with a dosing syringe, by stomach tube or by mixing into the feed. Pyrantel pamoate.
