Terramycin Ophthalmic Ointment is great to have around if you have pets or horses. I have used this product on cats, dogs, horses, and even a pet rat with awesome results. It's especially useful if you have two cats that like to annoy each other and one is always getting scratched in the face. It keeps the eye from getting an ulcer if it's applied as soon as you notice symptoms of irritation (eye tearing up, holding their eye partially closed). Saves on trips to the vet for a deep ulcer on the cornea! Also great for trail horses that may get superficial corneal scratches from riding through tall grass and weeds and wind blown debris. Just an all around great product to keep on hand. Don't let the small size fool you; a little goes a long way since it's an ointment and melts a bit once it hits body temperature. Think Neosporin ointment and how long a tube of that lasts. Is this testimonial helpful?

This stuff works fantastic!!! I came to the barn one day to find my horses left eye all swollen and gross. One of my friends had some Terramycin and said I should try it. I put it in my horses eye once and the next day it was completely fine again!!! I was so amazed I had to buy some. The only thing is that you have to keep it refrigerated and it is a little pricey at $12 for only 3.5 grams but it is soooo worth it! Is this testimonial helpful?
