I have a five year old paint gelding that has a problem with getting nervous when ridden. He starts chewing on the bit and he kicks the wall when asking him to lope. This bit keeps him calm and his head set well. I have roped, ridden western pleasure, and taken him on trail with this bit and it has preformed well in all test. Is this testimonial helpful?

This is a great bit. I am currently using it in my 17 yr old Arabian gelding. It is a great bit to use on him when out hacking in the fields or on trails because I can keep him focusing on me and bend him or do a one rein stop. It's an improved version of a tom thumb, but doesn't collapse on your horses' bars!
The roller keeps him happy and occupies while I stop to talk to people on the trail. w
Overall, I'd suggest using this bit in a horse that might chew or play with the bit, the copper roller is great at keeping his mouth soft.
Changing to this bit has greatly improved his turns, stops, rollbacks, two-tracking, and even sidepassing. Is this testimonial helpful?
