This stuff is AWESOME. Orvus is often used for gently cleaning delicate embroidery and quilts, but I use it to clean my dogs and horses. Â There are no bleaching or bluing agents, just a detergent. Oh how it cleans and whitens! Â I just use a 1/4 to 1/2 cup in a kitchen sink full of water to clean my Coton de Tulear dogs (a white fluffy breed). Â It doesnt add shine to their coats (important for the breed) however it will bring out shine that is already present in healthy hair, like it does on my horses' white coat. Â I usually scrub some into the coat on top, and the parts of their body that are underwater just whiten themselves by soaking in the water/Orvus mixture! Â It's awesome stuff, I love it, and it's far less expensive than some of the other whitening products out there (that may or may not work). Â The whitening shampoos at the regular stores do nothing for my Cotons, and very little for my horse.. although it did turn her purple, once. Â :/ Â I cannot imagine finding a better, safer product for cleaning my animals.Â

This is the best livestock soap for cutting through lanoline. Nothing else works the first time. This is the only soap I will use. I have been using it for over 30 years. Is this testimonial helpful?
