The winter in Kentucky was a mild one so the flies are terrible. My horses will meet me in the pasture waiting on the application of Swat Fly Repellent Ointment. It works great, but needs to be applied daily for maximun affect. Is this testimonial helpful?

I use clear SWAT Fly Repellent Ointment in my horses ears in the spring to control the little biting ear flies, usually only takes one or two applications during the season, and it appears to feel good to have it rubbed on the insides where the flies bite. I also use it on all the spots where the little black cattle flies eat, on the midline of the back, on the upper neck in front of the withers, and especially on the belly. These flies seem to eat on the same spot on a specific horse each year, but after a couple years of using SWAT, at least two of my horses are no longer bothered in their usual spots. I also use it on minor abrasions, and apply a small strip to the front of the legs of my one horse that tends to develop an allergic reaction to all the bites. I think I'll be able to keep the allergic condition from developing this year by keeping SWAT on all his problem areas. Good stuff, just wish it came in bigger containers. I have trusted in Swat (White or Pink) for years: This one product takes place of most. soft cream is safe/no sting in tear ducts to keep flys out and eyes nice. Also,cures any bite, abrassion, etc,..rapidly and gently so no abcesses to ever deal with from overdrying wounds by hard skin. Horses come for application, and flying insects hate it! I purchased this to apply to my geldings belly, where he has always had a spot that is crusty and super itchy. During the summer the flies drive him crazy on that spot! One application and the first day I noticed less of that flaky, crusty buildup and the flies were leaving him alone. After the second day, the skin there was smooth and felt normal again! Still an itchy spot but not anywhere near the level of itch that it was. He also has a very sensitive nose that gets burned and crusty, so I tried it there and all the crusty stuff is gone, his nose is nice and soft and he doesn't mind being touched there anymore. This stuff is amazing, I LOVE it! Is this testimonial helpful?
