One of my horses has cushings and the many hoof abscess and hard work it takes to keep these horses comfortable. Then through Valley Vet I found this wonderful product. Wow! dampen, place on the sole and tape in place, with in a few hours the abscess' open and drain. Animalintex Poultice is a great product. Keep some in your first aid kit,I do. We use this all the time where I board my horse. Most recently, my silly horse kicked himself in the left hind leg, and he had a long scrape and a puncture wound. We put the Animalintex on it, wrapped it, and it drew out the infection and left the wound looking nice and pink. This is great stuff! Is this testimonial helpful?

My vet originally gave this to me for a hoof abscess and since then I have kept it as a staple in my barn medical kit. Most recently I used this for a nail wound in the hoof. It is so easy to use and there's no mess and clean-up is great. You don't have to get remnants out of the wound with a pick or brush (really critical when the wound is sensitive). Just stick it on the wound or abscess area and a couple of go-arounds with vetrap, you're done. But a word to the wise--don't wait until you need it and have to get it from the vet. It'll cost you twice as much!! Is this testimonial helpful?

Oh my gosh.....try this for abscess medication. Draws out the infection quick.....cut to fit the wound or abscess.....or try the one cut out for hooves. Whatever the use...they work!! Is this testimonial helpful?
