This is definitely the best preventative and clearing treatment for Thrush. Once a week treatment does it and if you already have thrush this will clear it up. So much better than the green-stuff out there... Great product! Is this testimonial helpful?

It seems to work really well for preventing thrush (I use it whenever the horses start to get icky black stink in their frog or the heel of the hoof, and we haven't had any problems with thrush), but I've also found it works great for "marking" quarter cracks since it seeps up the line of the crack. When I look at the hoof later if the whole crack is "marked" purple then it isn't progressing. Nice that it doesn't damage the horse's skin and isn't toxic (unlike some of the other things out there), but it WILL stain your skin. Fortunately it doesn't seem to stain fingernails though, just the skin around them. Is this testimonial helpful?

Two of my horses prefer standing in muck to dry bedding, and keeping their feet healthy is an ongoing battle. I've tried a number of daily thrush remedies which are effective, but this one works very well and only requires treatment once per week. It is compact and very easy to use (i.e. not get it all over your hands!) Highly recommend it. Is this testimonial helpful?
