(Biogenics)  Measures the antibody content of colostrum. Inadequate or poor quality colostrum can cause calves to be "sickly" or slow starters. Giving calves quality colostrum insures adequate levels of natural antibodies to fight disease and scours. To use, place the colostrometer into cylinder and fill with 1 cup of colostrum. The amount of antibody present is determined by the scale reading at the top of the milk level.
