Feed 6 oz. per day. After feeding 6 oz. per day for 6 to 8 months, change to a maintenance level of 3 oz. per day. If the problem persists, resume feeding 6 oz. per day.

Dosage based on a 1,100 lb. horse. Adjust amount fed according to body weight - more for larger horses, less for smaller horses, ponies or foals.

Horseshoer's Secret pelleted hoof supplement

I've been using Horseshoer's Secret for many years now. It is easy to use, my horses like the taste (even my picky eater) and it works great. It used to be delivered in tall buckets which were somewhat difficult to open and use. Now it comes in a rectangular cube shaped container that is easy to handle and has many other uses for storage, etc., once emptied. Is this testimonial helpful?

I started my horse on this after my farrier recommended adding a hoof supplement. Has made a nice improvement in my horse's feet as he had a tendency to have some splits and some chips. It's been almost a year, and his feet have continued to do well -- both thru fly season and frozen ground. Is this testimonial helpful?

I have a horse that has weak hoof walls he flars out bad in his right rear hoof. He is starting to get better I can now ride him in the rocks and he will not crack. Horseshoer's Secret is a life saver before he would crack just around his correl. He still has the old cracks before he was put on Horseshoer's Secret the cracks haven't been growing I love this stuff, even the horse shoer likes it. Is this testimonial helpful?

When I bought my horse, he had HORRIBLE FEET! My farrier was astounded that anyone could let this happen. He hadn't had a trim in about 2 years, and was so severely malnourished, that he had virtually no hoof wall. I immediatly put him on HorseShoer's Secret (1 & 1/2 starter dose, because he needed the extra nutrition) and 6 weeks later, my farrier told me that his hoof walls seemed thicker. I said, "That can't be possible! That's old hoof still," and he agreed, but this stuff made him grow slightly thicker all the way down. You also could visibly see how much better the new growth was. All of this in a mere 6 weeks!! Now my baby has FANTASTIC FEET!!! People are surprised by how good they are, because he is a thoroughbred, who have notoriously bad feet. Is this testimonial helpful?

Helps to grow out the hooves quickly, giving your horse really nice beautiful strong hooves. My neighbor's mare did something and ended up chopping off both her front hooves just about halfway or farther up. This stuff grew them back quickly and nicely. Really helps when trying to grow out hooves that have cracks. Is this testimonial helpful?
