Our mules love this wormer so much that we have to make sure that we don't lay a tube or tubes of it where they can reach it. they will pick it up and if you don;t catch them they start cheing on the tubes and one almost swallowed hers tube and all.
No problems worming now that we use this apple flavored gel. You can even sneak one of those nasty paste wormers in once in awhile and the next time you come with the wormer still come running in hopes that it is Bimectin.
We use to have a mare that was a real problem to worm, she tokk a bit real easy but when she saw the wormer or any other tube coming you couldn't hang on to her. Her head would go as high in the air as she could get it and she waould start running backwards or spinning around so you couldn't get it in her. We tried a worming bit, but when she saw the tube coming we couldn't get the wormer into the it without snubbing her nose right to a stought post (like a power pole). After a couple of times using this product, we don;t have to snub her and we don't even know where the wormer bit is anymore.
Great product, melts in their mouth faster, for those that like to spit it back out.
Once our critters see the tube or get a whiff of the apple smell they all come running. Is this testimonial helpful?

If you have a horse that turns her head away because she can "smell" the wormer - you have got to use the apple flavored Bimectin paste. Also, the fact that it really isn't a paste, but a gel makes it a great product!! Is this testimonial helpful?
