Sierra is a halter bred QH with small hooves, low heels and poor hoof quality. He was 5 when I got him, and I have owned him 13 years. I started him on hoof supplements right when I got him, trying several different products along the way, landing on HSS pellets as I liked it better than powders due to adding other supplements in his feed. Most of them out there do help at least somewhat, but this product got me back twice. The first time was when I was just plain fed up with the cost and time of adding a hoof supplement (was using HSS at the time), and discontinued it completely. About 6-7 months later, he ended up stalled for a period of almost 2 months with 4 (yes 4) different abscesses in 3 different hooves. I promised him I would never stop giving him HSS. The second time was several years later when I thought "his feet are looking good these days and holding up well", so figured I'd try a cheaper product. Again, about 8 months later (and after complaints from my shoer that his feet were not in as good of shape as normal) he ended up with 2 more abscess. Needless to say, it's HSS or BUST for me and Sierra (literally). And the concentrate is easier to handle and way less product to feed, with the same results. Is this testimonial helpful?

There are three horses in our barn and we have been feeding them the concentrate for about 6 months. We've all committed to doing the natural hoof care and their feet needed help. Today their feet are in awesome condition and riding on rocks barely fazes them. An added bonus is their manes and tails have grown out they look and feel healthy and soft.
