We have a 13 year old Aussie Mix, JillyBean, that started showing signs of arthritis about 3 years ago. She got grumpier when any other of our dogs got near her and would only want to sleep in the cool grass all summer instead of "going to work" with my husband, in the hay fields like she had done all her life. A hay buyer told us about this product and we started her on it and you cannot believe that she is this age! She walks with me and our "pack" now when we go on explores around the property. Her eyes are bright again and her legs don't shiver or give out under her. She runs up and down our stairs!! I started her out at 2 pills 3x per day. The next year she showed signs of aching again, so I upped her to 3 (total of 9 per day) Only this summer I have upped her to 5 in the morning and 5 at night, which keeps her relieved of all her aches! She is still OLD, though, and wants to only go SO far with us on our walks and will either just sniff around on our own until we come back, or just go home and wait on her shady spot in the yard. But this stuff is working!! I LOVE THIS STUFF! If we had known about it earlier, we wouldn't have given our other Aussie Rimadyl, which eventually killed her. I heard about Cetyl M Joint Formula for Dogs from World Famous Horse Clinician Clinton Anderson. Product said it works for dogs, so I tried it on my 95 lb lab mix who has suffered from hip issues since age 3-4. What a difference! He now goes for 3 mile walks with no limping or discomfort afterward. He is able to bounce up and down on his hind legs (which is actually a rather annoying habit as he does this in my face while I'm trying to set his food bowl down.) My daughter-in-law took him to the vet and she prescribed Rimadyl, but he hardly ever needs it. She also takes him on overnight hiking/pack trips and he loves it. As for flavor--I put them in the bottom of his dry food bowl and he digs them out and eats them first. I started him the 1st 2 months on 4 tabs twice daily (the dose for his size), now he is on a maintenance dose of 1/2 that. The $30 is well worth it to me to see him so happy and playful. We found out that our 5 year old mixed breed dog had severe hip dysplasia back in November 2011. The vet didn't give much hope, her joints were so far gone. The tendons in her knees had torn also. We were sure by Christmas that we would have to have her put down. She could barely get up to go to the bathroom. It broke our hearts! I remembered seeing a commercial for Cetyl M on RFD TV. I found it here and ordered some. My husband was skeptical, but I told him we had to try something. Within a few weeks of taking Cetyl M and Rimadyl, the results are amazing! She is playful again, can run, she is improved 200%! You can still tell she has issues with her hips and knees, but she has gotten her life back! It is so wonderful! I have started giving it to our 8 year old black lab too, just in case. She hasn't had any issues, but I figured it couldn't hurt. If you have a dog with joint issues, you need to try this! I have a 16 year old female Min Pin named Rio. She has always been very active and spry, however a few years ago I noticed she was getting really stiff in her movements, especially when laying down or getting up. A friend recommended Cetyl M. I didnt buy it right away because I had doubts and its kind of expensive. But as Rio continued to have more difficulty I made the decision to try it out. Best decision ever!! Within the 1st 6 months, her mobility increased two-fold. I was amazed and extremely happy. I could tell she was feeling so much better...once again spunky in her movements. She has been on it for 3 years now. No matter what the cost, its worth every penny! I also have two toddler dogs I adopted within the past couple of years. They are on Cetyl M as well. We decided to try Cetyl M after our then 4 y/o Great Pyrenees started having hip problems. She would either pace in our home for hours, unable to lie down or lie down and not get up for half the day. Our Vet put her on Deramax which really helped but we did not want her to be on a daily pain killer at such a young age. We saw an ad for Cetyl M on RFD-TV and ordered it. We noticed a difference in her personality and activity level within weeks. She has been on Cetyl M for about two years now and is a much happier girl. Occasionaly she needs a boost of Deramax due to severe weather changes but that is only every two or three months. We have put our 8 y/o Golden Retriever on Cetyl M and he is going great! We have 14 year old Border who was an obedience and agility dog in her prime. She was first struck down by Valley Fever, then by torn cruciate ligaments, followed by chronic pancreatic insufficiency which we still struggle with, then a stroke and last diabetes. Her life was not going well and she was not a happy dog. Getting up and down was painful, and she was stiff when she moved. I started her on Cetyl M and in a few weeks, she was running, playing and even jumping over the door threshold. I had previously had her on other supplements, which contained more "active Ingredients" that did nothing compared to the results with Cetyl M. I don't know why it works so well, and I don't care. We have a 14 yr.old golden retreiver that has hip dysplasia & he went down fast. Husband had to carry him up & down the front porch steps cause he wouldn't even try to walk them. It broke our hearts. Then a friend of mine found the Ceytl M products at a horse show & called me & after telling me about it we were willing to try anything. All natural, we didn't think it could hurt him. I was willing to try anything to make my beloved 13 year old Lab mix dog feel better. She struggled up and down even the three small step each day and would really have to think about getting up to greet me because it hurt so much. I have a 13 year old Mini schnauzer that was experiencing arthritis pain in his rear legs. He was prescribed a non steroid anti-inflamatory by his vet. I decided to try Cety-M also. I have two dogs that Advanced Cetyl-M has helped dramatically. The first, an Australian Cattle dog mix, was thrown out a two story window as a pup and suffered multiple breaks to the bones in her feet. She now is nine years old and feeling the results of the old injuries. After being on Cetyl-M for a matter of months, she is much more agile and seems to feel so much better. My other dog is a five year old pointer mix that is bothered with hip dysplasia. She was hopping from leg to leg while standing and not able to go down stairs to her outside lot. My problem child Patrick, a 6 year old Great Dane who is a Parvo survivor and is white on top of that (which brings all new problems to the table) has always been a bit limpy or owie in his shoulder and used to walk very carefully, has been on Cetyl-m for about 6 months now. My veterinarian suggested that I begin giving CETYL-M to my 10-year-old dog Jerry (a Rottie-Lab mix) for his joints and spine. Jerry has had a SEVERE shedding problem since he was a puppy, and it was growing worse with age; also, his coat was dull and stiff. Over the years, I have tried every product I could find to try and alleviate this shedding problem, but nothing seemed to work. After giving him CETYL-M for a few days, I noticed that his coat was getting softer and shinier, and he was shedding much less. He now sheds very little, and has a beautiful coat. I am absolutely delighted with this additional "perk" of CETYL-M; and I think you should advertise it as a product to alleviate shedding, as well as a product to improve joints--if it works so well for his coat, I am sure it is doing a great job for his joints. Our dog, Ginger, started experiencing some stiffness in her joints about three years ago (she's somewhere between 12 and 15) which was steadily getting worse. We put her on glucosamine, which helped, but not significantly. In March of this year, we put her on the Cetyl-M and within a week she was moving so much more easily - even in the cold! This product has made a tremendous difference in our dog and has improved her quality of life. I recommend it to anyone - and our notoriously pill hating dog loves the taste! Worth every cent!! This is an Awesome product, a couple years ago our BullRott had hip surgery, he recovered quickly and moves great. In fact the hip the vets said would give him so much trouble gives him none, where as the one he had surgery on is the problem. I would not recommend any hip surgery on your dog, try Cetyl M first! If I had known about Cetyl M before the surgery he would not have gotten it. Maverick is an 11 yr old lab/shepherd mix.... He has a bad hip and had the opposite knee reconstructed 4 years ago... Mav has been on Deramaxx for ~3 years and Glucosamine/Chondriton supplements... our new house has stairs and it was getting to the point Mav just wouldn't go up or down them, he would look up the stairs and then just lay down (as if to say I want to, but it just hurts too much). I have a 12 year old German Shepard that was having allot of trouble getting up and down and slowing down in her movement but after just 3 days of the product she was acting like a little puppy again.
