(Classic Equine) A mild bit, the mouthpiece wraps the tongue when pressure is applied. Pressure is also realized on the chin (due to the curb strap or chain), bars and corners of the mouth. This bit works well on young horses just moving to a longer shank and on well-broke or light mouthed older horses. Good for lateral pull and collection and often used with a training fork or martingale.
