Cavallo Sport Boot Sizes Run Large

Seems like a well made quality boot. I like that it does not have any wires. The farrier does not want my horse wearing anything with wires. I had safety concerns regarding wires as well. The sizes do run larger than I expected. According to the Cavello size chart, the recommended size for my horse was a 4. The farrier measured her feet BEFORE I ordered any boots, and said a size 2. I am now waiting for the size 4's to be exchanged for a size 2. I think I will be happy with this product when I finally get the correct size. Is this testimonial helpful?

Ordered the sport boots for my paint the day before a very challenging trail ride in the Texas Hill Country! Glad to report there was very little rubbing and they stayed on his hooves in the roughest terrain! Up rocky hills, down rocky hills, thru water & mud! A+ Will recommend!! This boot appears to be well constructed. The fit is actually quite good. I just got a set today for a sore-foot horse that we compete in barrel racing. I do not intend to run with these boots in competition, as they do not appear to bring a good/secure enough fit for the turning/torque they would be hit with. For less physical activities, they should be very good and offer good protection. Is this testimonial helpful?

Recently I purchased my fourth pair of Cavallo boots. I love the simple boots and have used them for years; I couldn't wait to try out the sport boots. They are comparable to the simple boots but have an improved design. The Sport boots seem lighter and are easier to put on (no velcro straps). They also don't move around and seem to fit very well. The sport boots stay on in varied terrain. My TB loves them, too. We gallop with them and do a lot of trail riding in the mountains. Without the boots he has sore feet and refuses to leave the arena. I'd recommend the pastern wraps. My main horse has sensitive skin and the wraps prevent rub marks at teh cuff of the boot. Is this testimonial helpful?

New sport boot cavallo

These newer Cavallo boots are better than the older model!! My horse has thin soles and narrower hooves than most. These new Cavallos fit the naffower hoof better than the older ones. My guy moves out much better and the boots aren't as "clunky" as the older model Cavallos. I have used every model of Easyboot and this is by far the better boot out of them all. It will not come off even in water. I use the Boa Boot gaiter though since they seem to be more durable than the one Cavallo makes.The one thing i did experience on the older model Cavallo boot though; the toe does wear out faster than it should. I hope the newer sport model is better. Is this testimonial helpful?
