My 11 year old cocker spaniel has had 2 knee replacements and was walking gimpy with a limp. She seemed tired and lethargic; having trouble getting up. My vet suggested using Welactin and she is a different puppy! She is running and playing and no more limping! The vet has no answer except for the Welactin. I am not taking any chances, and plan to continue using it. Is this testimonial helpful?

my dog suffered some renal failure as a result of something she ate or drank. as part of treating her now chronic condition, my vet recommended welactin. i am something of a cynic regarding supplements, but we were trying to do anything to help her out.
after the first bottle i thought it wasn't doing much so i didn't keep her on it. since i didn't think it was actually doing anything, i was surprised to see there was a noticeable difference once she was off of it. she seemed more sluggish and just 'not feeling well'. all of her other medicines were continued during this time so the only change was removal of the welactin.
i have put her back on it and it does seem to help. With welactin, and her other medicines, she is almost as if she is not sick at all.
she has never developed a real liking for the smell/taste, but she will take it, and it does help her.
i have another dog on it who has persistent skin problems, and he likes the taste so much that he is reluctant to eat his food unless it has some on it.
i am still not one to jump on the supplement bandwagon, but i do believe this product is helpful to my pets. Is this testimonial helpful?
