We have 12 - 16 horses on five acres and this product, in conjunction with good management (a premise spray and fly predators in outside pastures) works PERFECTLY together. I found that flies were reduced almost entirely when combining all three methods. Premise spray and fly predators alone only did half the job and we still suffered from pesky flies. Highly recommend Solitude IGR. And because I breed horses, I only trust Solitude. The other chemical base products are not tested safe for breeding animals...at least not that I've found. I have been using this product for the past two years. Hardly any flies around the barn (including manure pile)! What I love best is that it is safe for all my horses and dosing is so simple. I little goes a long way. Well worth the price.

Winter Haven Farm is a "A" level hunter Jumper Barn located near Atlanta GA. The black flys are absolutely awful here. 3 years ago they got so bad I had to do something. In less than 15 days of using Solitude IGR 50% of the flys where gone. In 30 days I would say 85% of the flys where gone and the remaining flys where simply rouge flys from somewhere other than my farm. A remarkable product. This is now my 3rd year and I usually start it mid April. For the most part my barn is fly free. Solitude IGR conbined with a good premis spray does the job!

I used this product last year. It seemed to be helpful, along with other fly protection measures I take. Last year I ened up purchasing two of the 6 lb. containers. I was encouraged enough to go ahead and purchase the 20 lbs. for this year. Is this testimonial helpful?

This product worked very well for me. I have 10-13 horses most of the time. Living in East Georgia we have an ample supply of flies. Please take precaution and read the fine print on the rebates. You will only get one rebate per family per year. I made the mistake and bought two that cost me the full price and was turned down on the other two rebates. I feel that $245.00 is too much to pay !
