I have been riding in these lacers for years. They hold up very well,in spite of me getting them wet riding across deep water often. Very comfortable while riding and great for walking down the trail,even on steep inclines. I also LOVE that they come in my size,which is an 11. Kudos to Ariet for realizing all cowgirls are not tiny little models,with shoe sizes to match. Great Boots at a fair price. Is this testimonial helpful?

THE Best Boot Ever

I have lost count on how many pair of Terrains I've worn out. Recently I broke my ankle and thought I needed a shoe/boot with more support during recovery. I bought and returned 3 pairs of other brands before going back to my old faithfuls, the Terrains. The other shoes caused stress on the foot and aching pain in the knee...who knows why. But the minute I stepped back in to the Terrains it felt like coming home. Haven't taken a painful step since. Can't wait to get back to riding. I've not had any difficulty breaking them in. In fact, it's what I love most about them, brand new and they are instantly comfortable. I'll never change again! Is this testimonial helpful?

Lightweight Comfort

It took me several months to break these boots in... unusual for Ariat boots. Now that that they *are* broken in, I find them to be extremely comfortable and they have become my favorite pair of hot weather boots. I just finished a 2 week riding Safari in Africa and brought the Terrain boots. My feet remained cool and dry, yet protected from thorns and branches. All of this and they weigh less than my tennis shoes and are even more breathable too. I am very happy with the Ariat Terrain's performance!

This boot is an excellent choice for riding, hiking, or every day wear. I plan on getting another pair to keep at home! My only complaint is that for riding in a drizzle, walking briefly through dewy grass, or filling water buckets.... your feet will get wet! If your horse stands on your foot, or you drop a shovel on your toe... it's like your only wearing socks. There are plenty of other Ariat boots for barn work and wet weather. ;-) Is this testimonial helpful?

I own 4 pairs of the Ariat Terrain Lacers ~ I think they are THE MOST comfortable boots I have ever worn. I have 2 pairs of the waterproof boots ~ they keep your feet completely dry, even when bathing your horse and the boots get soaked. I wear them from morning to night and my feet never hurt. If you're looking for a comfortable boot that wears well, I highly recommend the Ariat Terrain Lacer. Is this testimonial helpful?

Very comfortable, esp. on the trail when you need to dismount, stretch the knees and then, re-mount. I bought the waterproof, an added bonus. True to size but they do stretch, so if tight, put in a boot tree. They will be your favorite boots in no time! Is this testimonial helpful?
