It is not intended to act as a halter or replace a halter. By using a halter and lead rope properly in conjunction with this product, it removes any stress or undue pressure from The Equiface Saver. In doing so, this ensures the proper and correct fit for continuous, generous protection. The Equiface should be applied before the halter. Snugly secure the chin and throat snaps for a good fit. Adjust the pads underneath for comfort. Does not restrict breathing or proper lower jaw movement. The Saver is also equipped with a handy ‘breakaway’ feature. Note: the Equiface will not work properly if the throatlatch is not snugly secured.
