This is the best product suggested by my farrier for a thin soled Appendix QH gelding who chronically would abscess, bruise, and tend to get thrush. What a difference in his feet noted by the farrier. He keeps more sole and his feet stay in great condition. I highly regard this product as the best for tender footed horses, shod or unshod. Helps hold shoes better as well. If you have lots of mud, this product will keep the hoof from getting too soft. Is this testimonial helpful?

I have a horse with a horrible aversion to the farrier. The gal I bought him from sedated him for shoes his whole life. I only found one that could work with him safely (the man is a horse whisperer!) and without drugs. But, instead of putting the horse and the farrier through the stress of shoes, we decided to try the barefoot trim. (We run barrels and many hi level horses have run barefoot successfully around here.). My boy was a bit foot sore, off and on for over a month. A friend recommended trying keratex to harden, not dry, the hoof. Like some of the others, I saw a difference within days. Now, the horse had a great food to begin with, but he is NOT hoof sore at all. He runs in the field (which can be very hard dry and rocky) without a problem. He has run barrels (practice) in dry ground as well as mud and has great footing! I am starting my daughter's gelding on it, just cause his feet aren't the best. I have every confidence that he will be bragged about as well. HIGHLY, recommended! Is this testimonial helpful?

Last year we moved from CA to KY and brought our horses with us. About 4 months after moving here we started having a problem with our horses pulling their shoes off and hooves cracking. We tried several supplements with no luck. e finally called our farrier in CA and explained the siutation and he recommended Keratex. Considering that he is extremely picky in what he recommends we ordered the Keratex. Wow, I cannot believe the difference in three weeks! In fact we saw a difference after the second treatment and could not believe it. We will continue to use this product until we get our horses feet back in shape. After that we are going to switch to the Keratex Gel for the long run. Is this testimonial helpful?

This product was recommended by my farrier (and he rarely recommends anything)!! It really works! Our two horses made it through almost 3 months of the worst mud we have ever had. One of the trainers at the barn began borrowed some on her TB, who has very thin hoof walls, she was amazed at the results and ordered some of her own. Is this testimonial helpful?
