Great Buy! Durable Beta Driving Harness

Durable Beta Driving Harness is not fancy enough for the Driving Shows; however I bought this harness in mid-2009 and I love it. I have a B size miniature horse that I compete in Arena Driving Trials (ADT’s), and hope to do American Driving Society (ADS) recognized Combined Driving Events (CDE’s) next year. The material has held up quite well. The only part of the harness I replaced was the flat cooper and that was the day it was delivered. The only time I wash it is just before a show with woolite / water or MurphyOilSoap/water they both put a bit of a shine on the harness. My husband spent a bit more for his harness and he has had to replace parts. The only negative comment I have is I wish the breast collar were more beefy and the cooper was not flat,, but then it would be a $450.00 harness. We have two more minis to start and we will buy two more of these harness. We live in the desert and we love the lack of maintenance it takes. This harness is a great buy. I just got this but I was really impressed with the value for the price. Flexible and strong, hardware is top notch. A good fit as well. I wish the breast strap was a bit wider and a bit thicker, but overall very pleased. Is this testimonial helpful?

I have had leather and nylon harnesses. I needed a new harness for the pony I got a few months back. I did a LOT of research and decided to go with the beta. I LOVE IT!! It is very strong and very easy to clean! I love the feel of it. I had a pony that I was ground driving get away from with me cart in tow and he got caught in the briars. It didn't scratch, tear, or anything. I thought for sure the harness would break but it didn't. It's still perfect. The biothane will scratch but the betathane won't. I highly recommend this harness! Just purchased this harness for pleasure driving my B mini... I am very happy with the quality and love the feel of the Betathane. May not adjust small enough to fit some of the tinier A minis. My boy is 9 hands and about 280 pounds (46" girth) and many of the adjustments are on the smallest or next smallest holes. I would give it a 4 star rating for the quality, comfort, ease of use, vs. cost. Great for pleasure or training! Is this testimonial helpful?
