I have a QH I use for distance competitons (NATRC) at about 12 years of age he developed occasional breathing problems. Not sever but occasional heavy breathing that could last for several days. His attacks seemed to track with my Hay Fever bouts. Steroids and drugs were out of the question, except as a last resort. Someone suggested I try Wendal’s Garlic Granules. I was delighted with the results. After about three days on them no more breathing issues. Trying to determine the root of an allergy is an iffy and expensive, so they have become a part of his regular meal.
I also have an Arab about the same age. He came from the north country to our hot,, humid, fly ridden environment. After about two years he developed a high sensitivity to the small no-seenum flies that are out in the cool of the day. No amount of fly abatement could prevent him from scratching his mane and tail out. I decided to try the garlic granules in his feed where I had more control over strength and quantity. It was a battle but he finally has a mane and tail and is much happier.
One took to the garlic granules in his feed – no problem. The other I had to start out with small quantity and work our way up. The only problem is their ‘after dinner breath’ – YIKES! Is this testimonial helpful?

OMG! This stuff is great! I, too, have a dark bay mare. The flies just blanket her back and and collect around her eyes. There was a noticeable difference 2 days after starting her on the garlic granules. She is a much happier mare. Is this testimonial helpful?

I have a dark colored mare, and flies just seem to be attracted to her no matter what! I was tired of spending so much time in a fog of flyspray to keep her comfortable, that I decided to give the garlic supplement a try...and I only have to use the flyspray sparingly now! Well worth the money to save my mare from constantly stomping, swishing her tail, and shaking her head! I will keep a supply on hand for fly season from now on! Is this testimonial helpful?
