I've been searching for a riding jean for years... and I do mean years. My search is over and the jeans are exactly what I had hoped to find. I usually wear a 6 and because I don't like to be pinched when riding, I ordered the 7. It is very relaxed. I can definitely wear a 5 but will keep the 7 too (admit it - we all need a larger size from time to time). The jeans are super stretchy, the waist is amazingly fitted without pinching or gapping. Because it's a slightly lower rise, I can breath and ride at the same time. The denim is soft and doesn't need "breaking in". Thanks to Wrangler for finally making a riding jean that truly fits the bill (and me!). Is this testimonial helpful?

I recieved my new jeans yesterday. I couldn't wait! What a shock, I read the Q-Baby reviews, and bought a size smaller because the testimonials referred to the jeans running large. Guess what I need an even smaller size in??? I am 5'7" 160lbs. Let's be honest ladies, I have 3 children so my middle ain't what it used to be....yikes! Today I went to a local tack store where they sell these Wranglers, and tried on jeans for an hour. Here is what I discovered. When Wrangler says 34" long, it is not like hearing it from Wal-Mart. I have long legs, add boots, spurs, and a horse and I am forever ending up w/ short pants in the saddle. The no gap waist band? AMAZING! You can get down to pick hooves and not have to worry about startling the neighbors. I found the JET style has a lower rise than Q-baby's but the waist does not expose anything. I love the extra room in the knees, I am always riding w/ a knee brace of some sort. Bootcut means just that, no "bell-bottoms" or "flare" like our daughters are wearing, and no "skinny" fit either. They are what they say, good quality jeans, for a great price through Valley Vet, comfortable, made for women ('bout time guys!!!), and they look neat. When my new order gets here, I will wear them, wash them, dry them (no special treatments for barn clothes), climb trees, clean barns, put up hay, ride for hours, and probably hit the ground a time or two. I will keep you posted on the "wear and tear" aspect. I'm not looking for jeans that just fit and look good, they have to stand the test of life around here. SO, tune in later......
