How does Regenerex-MP™ work to help increase your body's joint mobility and flexibility?

Figuerola Laboratories' powerful proprietary formula, Regenerex-MP™, comprises 100.5+% pure glucosamine HCL, 99.9+% pure low molecular weight chondroitin sulfate, 24% pure low molecular weight hyaluronic acid, 99.9% pure GlycoElastin™, 99.9+% pure MSM (methylsulfonylmethane), 100% pure SAMe (S-Adenosylmethionine), 100% pure CMGP (cartilage matrix glycoprotein), and eight antioxidant vitamins (A, C, E) and minerals (copper, manganese, selenium, silicon, zinc picolinate).

Glucosamine is the main structural component of healthy joints and connective tissues, and helps increase joint strength, mobility, and flexibility, while enhancing the body's natural ability to control inflammation. Its primary functions are to stimulate the secretion of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) in the articular cartilage, enabling joint cartilage regeneration and connective tissue repair, and to stimulate cartilage cells to produce proteoglycans, the proteins that bind water in cartilage. Researchers have also found that administration of glucosamine suppresses nitric oxide production, which may be a key factor in helping to prevent inflammation.*

Chondroitin sulfate is a major structural component found in cartilage. Its primary function is to inhibit degradative enzymes that contribute to cartilage breakdown. Regenerex-MP™'s low molecular weight chondroitin sulfate protects and stabilizes collagen while enhancing elasticity and cushioning of joints.*

Hyaluronic acid (hyaluronan) is normally part of cartilage and synovial fluid. Because of its low molecular weight (LMW), Regenerex-MP™'s hyaluronic acid travels through the bloodstream immediately and provides a higher absorption rate. It also offers a higher concentration of hyaluronic acid (24%) than do other supplements.*

In cartilage, hyalorunic acid binds to other molecules, helping the cartilage to withstand the force of weight bearing and movement of the joint.*

In the synovial fluid, hyalorunic acid lubricates the movement of the cartilage against the lining of the joint (synovium) and also may have some "shock absorber" properties.*

Clinical research indicates that supplemental LMW hyaluronic acid may decrease swelling and inflammation;* may reduce pain by soothing irritated nerve endings in the lining of the joint;* and may help to stimulate the production of normal hyaluronic acid by the cells in the joint lining and improve stiffness present in degenerative arthritis (osteoarthritis).*

S-Adenosylmethionine (SAMe) combines the essential amino acid methionine with adenosyl-triphosphate (ATP), an important physiological agent that occurs naturally in the body. SAMe is required in the manufacture of all sulfur-containing cartilage components, and a deficiency of SAMe in joint tissue-just like a deficiency of glucosamine-leads to the loss of the "gel-like" nature and "shock-absorbing" qualities of cartilage. Capsule initial dose: Take 3 to 4 capsules a.m. and 3 to 4 capsules p.m. for the first 6 to 8 weeks, preferably on an empty stomach.

Capsule maintenance dose: Take 2 to 3 capsules once a day, preferably on an empty stomach. Dosage can be increased at any time to suit individual needs.

How long does it take to see results from JointSaver®?

Since JointSaver® provides nutrients that affect the structure and function of the joint, changes may occur gradually. You should notice changes in two to four weeks, but for some people it may take four to six weeks to see noticeable changes.

Are there any side effects with JointSaver®?

None. JointSaver®'s non-toxic formula is very safe to use, even at overdose levels.

Does JointSaver® have any anti-inflammatory properties?

Yes, JointSaver® does have some secondary anti-inflammatory effects. However, that is not its key function. It helps to alleviate pain by normalizing damaged joint tissue. That's why it may take JointSaver® a few weeks before there is a noticeable improvement. Arthritis medications can relieve pain immediately, but they are only temporary and can be accompanied by further damage to the joint.*
