My 20 something Tennessee Walker suddenly began falling on her knees while trail riding. Sometimes it was just the front knees, sometimes all four. This was very concerning to me and also, hard to ride. My Vet thought this was brought on be arthritis. He suggested Cosequin. Sadie has been getting her daily dose for about two years now. I have my 9 yr old Walker on this quality supplement for support and maintenance. I supplement Cosequin with Adequan annually in spring as a preventative. I feel like you get what you pay for with Cosequin and like that they have done research on their products, unlike many veterinary nutracuticals (sp). My horse has been doing very well on this and had no problem keeping up with his hour long canter lesson yesterday. He feels strong, fluid and forward. I wish they made a Cosequin for senior horses that also hit areas such as pain relief and digestion all in one...that would be worth the money. Is this testimonial helpful?
