Lycra Hood is Easy and Durable

This hood is easy to put on and zip, and so far there are no tears. I like the velcro straps under the chin. It washes up just fine in the washing machine, too.

Our horse got spooked and ran into the tongue of our goose neck trailer and cut his neck muscle almost in half and tore/ripped his skin from his mane down to his shoulder! After being at the vet clinic for almost 2 weeks - he came home for me to take care of! We ordered 2 Lycra hoods and rotated them ever 2 days when cleaning the wound ! They were the best thing that we could do to hold everything in the neck together as stitches were not an option. We scrubbed them and washed them every 2 days for several weeks and they still look new and held up great!
Very durable !

Great lycra hood

Recently purchased this lycra hood. This is actually our second lycra sleezy from this company and manufacturer. Good quality. Other one we have is about three years old! Still works great! Has even been on horse all summer long, and still holds it's shape wonderfully! Works awesome to keep a mane down, or keep braids and/or bands down! Great price too!
