Horse That Is A Chronic Cougher

My mare developed a cough a couple of years ago and was administered an antihistimine. The problem was it would test positive. I contacted Valley Vet to recommend an alternative and their vet told me to try Command Ester-C. I have been feeding it every day since and it has allieviated the problem for the most part. She still has her days when she will cough a couple of times, but they are few and far between. Before she would cough during the entire ride, but no more and it doesn't test so she can get it even on days when we are showing. She is a reiner.
Highly recommend this to anyone who has a horse with a cough.

Command Ester-C...Relief for broodmare with varicose veins

The leading KY equine endocrinologist, whom I contacted when my oldest broodmare started to bleed from varicose veins in the vagina, recommended supplementation with Vit C. I tried Command Ester-C and it worked! The mare didn't seem to mind top dressing the powder on her concentrate, and within one week the bleeding stopped entirely.

Great product

I've been giving my 20 yr. old gelding Command Ester-C for the last 8 years. He developed heaves around 12 years old and the ester-C along with MSM have been a big help. He's never had another spell as bad as the first and coughs less now that when he was 12-15 yrs. old. Thanks for a good product that isn't hard on his stomach.
