Dermal + Aid Works Great!!!
Posted By: D. MARSH (Berkshire, NY) Feb 5, 2013

I had a couple of bad cases of rain rot for which I tried everything--MTG, Microtek, betadine scrubs, antibiotics, etc. I tried this product and I saw it getting better in just a couple of days. Easy to use because you just apply it to dry hair/skin and leave it. The scabs soften up and you are able to easily, and painlessly, scrape them off, allowing new hair to grow in. Only draw back is that it has a heavy medicinal smell and is very oily ... but a small price to pay for results. I keep a bottle on hand at all times.

I started using this about 6 weeks ago on my little donkey who was so itchy he was bald in some spots. His coat is now beautiful, and he is much more comfortable. I'm impressed.

GREAT PRODUCT, Finally something that works

I am currently fostering a 1 year old dog, that was diagnosed at the vet with SEVERE Demodectic Mange. Her entire body has been affected by this. She had red sores covering most of her body, couldn't even keep a collar on her, because it would make her bleed because of rubbing on her. Her family have been trying to get her better for over six months. She receives Ivermec orally and is on antibiotics every day. I bought Dermal + Aid as a last ditch effort to help this poor dog. It is VERY oily, BUT, IT WORKS. I put a sprayer top on it and I just spray it on her body and then use a small sponge for her face. I have been using this on her for almost 1 week and WHAT A DIFFERENCE. All the sores and raised areas on her are gone and her hair is beginning to grow back on her legs and belly. This stuff really works, you have to be willing to put up with the smell and the oiliness of it, but it soaks into her skin in a couple of hours.

Does what it says! GREAT product

I have been buying Dermal aid for a few years now. Figured I better write a review on it and share my experience. I own curly horses and they have very oily skin and thick wooly winter coats/manes. They tend to get fungus and bacteria deep next to their skin that causes them to itch sometimes. So much so they will literally rub their manes out, down to the skin. After trying Dermal aid for some skin bacteria on a another horse and saw how effective it was, it made me think about my curlies. I decided to start treating their manes and tails with it. Low and behold, within 3 days the skin went from flakey, dirty and disgusting, to healthy pink skin. Not only that, but the hair grew back almost immediately and my horses never rub at all now. I use Dermal aid year around and treat my horses manes and tails once a month. If I ever see their skin getting gunky, I treat again. It is quick acting and soaks quickly into the skin. It is not greasy or gunky and makes my curlies manes soft and silky too. GREAT product. I tell all my curly friends about it.
