test of the clippers
Posted By: lilred8125 (BUNNELL, FL) Feb 22, 2011

well im a fan of the Oster Clipmaster clippers, had them for about 10 years. then they quit working. decided from the preivous reviews i bought these clippers. clipped my 31 yr old and loved them, what amazed me was that they did not leave any lines. also my arm was not tired. with my old ones i had to go back with my smaller clippers and take care of the lines, and my arm was exhausted. i clip horses as a side job for friends and clients. i have been researching clippers for awhile and settled on these. glad i did.

Excellent buy

Never body clipped a horse before, bought these clippers from reading reviews and comparing to other clippers and was totally pleased with the way they performed. They sheared right through with no problem at all, and believe me his hair was thick and long. I was so delighted I would recommend these for anyone needing body clippers.

Lister star clippers

Fabulous clippers! These cut my shearing time by 1/3 over the Groom Master clippers I used to use. With the Wizard blades, I have no problem shearing my 23 llamas, regardless of the fiber type. Highly recommend.

WOW! Love 'em!

I bought these clippers a year ago to replace my old ones that had given up under the heavy load at my boarding facility--mine are used to clip boarder's horses for them each year (we charge a clipper rental fee to cover wear/tear and blad sharpening, in addition to manpower). After researching, these appeared to be the best value for durability, weight, and ease of use, combined with price. I have NOT been disappointed. They do a fantastic job, are comfortable in your hand, and although they aren't the quietest, the noise doesn't disturb me, nor the horses. There is a lot of vibration, but that seems to feel good to the horses, and it's not noticeable to me, tune it out, like a massage. Having used them, I can't imagine using any others...not even the cordless, or the separate motor-types that friends have let me try out. These make it so easy to do a great line-free job, that I just can't imagine changing...and the blades stay sharp through double the number of horses I ever got with previous clippers. They've already paid for themselves with the savings.
