CONKLIN (HALLSVILLE, MO) Feb 1, 2006 I've been using an E.Coli vaccine/anti-serum ever since they became available about 8 years ago. That first year when I prepared for foaling, I bought a tube for every expected foal and 2 gallons of the pink stuff. I still have those gallons of unopened pink stuff sitting in a corner because I have never had a foal with scours since I started using the E.Coli vaccine. It is now a requirement for every foal born in my barn.
