The Grazing Muzzle really works! Our mare is an easy keeper and this slows down her intake while in pasture. I do recommend using the fleece lining under the chin area or vaseline as she sometimes rubs herself too hard no matter how it is adjusted. She is fine wearing it. Puts her nose in just as easy as a halter. Well made

I got this muzzle two years ago for my mare after she foundered. I am just now having to replace it since the hole is starting to get too big to be effective. I was a bit skeptical at first since some reviews said it didn't last very long, but I think two years using it everyday from March thru Sept is pretty reasonable. She would not have been able to be out on grass hardly at all if she didn't have it on, she likes being out with my other mare and I hated the idea of keeping her in the corral so it works, plus it helped keep her weight down.
