Rubber Made De-Icer Posted By: animalover (FLOYDADA, TX) Apr 4, 2011 We ordered this de-icer late last year for our rubber made stock tank, and it has been a God send. It is so nice not to have to break several inches of thick ice like we had to the winter of 2010 with all the snow and freezing temeratures we had. I had always wanted one, but had never bought one, and it is well worth buying. The only horse I have now is a 29 year old QH mare, and I know she appreciated the warmer water because she did drink much more water during the very frigid weather we had this winter.
