Appears to be working against Canker
Posted By: Shady Hollow Farm (SORRENTO, FL) Oct 29, 2010
On the advice of a farrier I am using this on my horse who has canker in 3 of his feet. I was already treating the worst foot with a different product so I am using Mycaseptic on the other 2. Mycaseptic really dries out the canker tissue - a desirable result - and appears to be curing this insidious infection. The excess tissue growth has halted and the stink of the infection is gone - flies are no longer attracted to these feet, whereas before they were all over it. Also, the tissue has changed in color from white back to a normal dark gray.
Just be careful to not get this product above the coronet as it irritates skin and stings it, and don't get it on any clothing as it will eat a hole through it. Wear latex gloves or promptly wash your hands after handling. The product tends to spread out over the area it's applied to, so cover the nearby skin area with Vaseline or an ointment to serve as a barrier. Overall - extremely happy with results!

mycaseptic is great

I have used Mycaseptic on my horses for several years to treat thrush. My farrier and I have been also using it to treat white line disease succesfully in horses previously thought to be uncurable. Valley Vet also has the lowest price found on the internet. Great Product.
