It was either put her to sleep or put her in diapers. She is a very active dog and has been wearing these since she was a puppy. She is now 9 years old. She has never pulled them off. We use medium size baby diapers (the inexpensive kind) and cut them in half to use inside the holder. She stops at the door for us to take it off so she can go outside; then waits inside the door when she comes in for us to put it back on. It works out great and keeps my house cleaner.
