I Never Knew Thom Was 14 Years Old
Posted By: Tinker (DETROIT, MI) Jun 11, 2007
I adopted a large male feral cat that the vet told me was
"a best guess--over 10 years old". Thom would chew and sit on his left front paw and sometime limp--the vet said he had advanced joint wear--that the paw might have been even broken once. I got this Joint Stress formula and would give him just 6 drops in his breakfast. No chewing, no
limping, and once when banished from my vegetable garden, he
jumped an 8 foot privacy fence to find me. He also got real peppy and ran up my neighbors 20-maple tree, turned around and ran back down. Thom spent almost every day outside in almost any weather (that was Thom). He passed away from old age and the vet did a complete check and told me Thom was AT LEAST 14 years old! As the vet said, that was a record for a (happy)outdoor cat.
