GILCHRIST (LAS VEGAS, NV) Oct 27, 2011 bought one of these racks to use over 1.5 in tubular fence rail , works beautifully. dressage saddle stays put, intend to purchase more of these racks. one word of caution ,dont leave it hooked to the arena fence if there are horses in the arena one little mare thought it would b a great scratching post,her bridle snagged the rail hook and it and the horse had an unexpected head butt. No harm to mare or the rack ,It just fell to the ground w a clang. Would recommend purchase if railing size is about 1.5 inches or so
