We take our horses camping alot and these are great for keeping hay off the ground.You can tie it close to your horse so you don't have let your lead rope to dangle so the horse don't have to eat off the ground. IN the end its also safer for the horse cause they don't have the possibility of getting the dangling lead rope caught or wrapped around something or themselves.
